Thank you for being here for my black belt grading.
I started Taekwondo when I was 5 years old. I remember starting training in Mitcham with my sisters and the Masters teaching me how to skip. I always asked to go to as many classes as we can and I liked getting more stamps on my card than everyone else!
I may not win as many medals as my sisters, but I always try my best and work hard. I remembered how excited I was to get my first yellow belt, and I am happy to be able to try to grade to my black belt today. I have been looking forward to this for a long time!
Many thanks to all my Masters for being patient with me and believing in me. Thank you to Master Brian for always encouraging me even when I had never won any competitions, Master Benecia and Bryanna for coaching me at competitions, and Master Joyce for helping me in class.
Thank you to my Mum and Dad for always being here with me in class. Thank you to Master Les for giving me extra advice and to Jason for encouraging me to train, one day I will be as tall as him. And finally thank you for my sisters so I always have someone to practice with and play with.
