My Taekwondo journey in Australia started in 2019.
I was in blue belt, and I remember my first class here was sparring. I found that self-defense was the easiest to learn, even though I had never learned it in Hong Kong.
Poomsae requires a good memory in order to remember each sequence, so I hope I don’t mess them up. In my opinion the hardest part in Taekwondo is the terminology.
This year I went to a Taekwondo referee course and was able to pass it. My goal is to get a black belt and it is influenced by my brother, Ryan as I want to catch up to him and have the ability to spar against him and win.
From the help I received from Master Brian, Master Joyce, Master Benecia and Master Bryanna, I am now here having my black belt grading. I want to say thank you to you all, and I am hoping that I can achieve my goal of receiving a black belt.
