Good Afternoon Master Brian, Master Joyce, Master Benecia, and Master Bryanna, I joined WeiWu Taekwondo two year ago, starting as a Blue 3 after learning some Taekwondo in Hong Kong. I must say, I more enjoyed my journey of learning Taekwondo here at WeiWu, the classes, the teachings, everything just feels more interesting than Hong Kong.
When I joined, Master Joyce helped me master the basics, like kicks and strikes. Her guidance really set the foundation for my journey to Black Belt.
Later on, I learned patterns, or poomsae, from Master Brian. He showed me how to do each movement perfectly.
Master Benecia and Master Bryanna were always there in class to help me practice everything I learned. With their support, I got better and better.
Throughout my journey, I've learned that Taekwondo isn't just about fighting. It's about protecting yourself and being there to help others when they need it.
I've found so much joy in practicing Taekwondo that I don't plan on stopping once I achieve my black belt. It's become a meaningful part of my life, and I look forward to learn new technique even after reaching this milestone.
