Master Brian, Master Joyce, Master Bryana, Master Benecia, family and friends. I would like to talk to you all about my journey here at WeiWu Taekwondo. As most of you know I am Andoni Lagoulis and I started my journey with my brother Toli at Joon No's and then WeiWu Taekwondo in February 2018 when I was 10 years old. I joined WeiWu Taekwondo to build my confidence and self-esteem and to learn to defend myself.
I was very proud to be asked to join the warrior team which gave me the opportunity to compete in the Nationals QLD, Gold Coast Open QLD, Victorian Championships and many Club Championships which I was very nervous but it was an amazing experience. I had a lot of fun travelling with my taekwondo family and spending time with all the Masters and friends.
I would like to thank my parents for all their dedication, bringing me to every training session and always supporting me especially my dad who has always pushed and encouraged me when I needed it. Lastly I want to thank the most important people who made this journey possible and that is all my Masters. Master Joyce thank you for taking photos of my progress and always making sure we are ok. Master Benecia and Bryana thank you for all your guidance and experience. I have enjoyed all our hard Warrior training sessions and all our fun times together especially our ball games! Master Brian you have been my biggest mentor you have not just taught me poomsae, kicks and punching techniques but have taught me self-discipline and most of all respect, you taught me how to respect others and be respectful around them. I have become a better, stronger more confident and happier person.
I am very proud to have trained really hard and to have earnt my black belt with WeiWu Taekwondo and will continue my journey here together with you all. Gam sa ham ni da
