Good evening, Master Brian, Master Joyce, Master Bryanna, Master Benecia and other people who may have waited this long to watch me grade.

3 years and several months ago, I decided that I wanted to try a martial art. I decided on Taekwondo because it sounded cooler than Karate.

When I first went, I felt very nervous but the masters all made me feel welcome.

At Taekwondo, I have learnt respect, discipline and I have become more confident although if I met someone in an alleyway, I would still probably scream like a girl and run away.

I am very proud of myself making it this far even though at times it  has been pretty hard. I am happy that I have stayed here and am now grading for my black belt.

​I want to thank Master Brian for helping me perfect most of my red belt grading. I am looking forward to doing some of the special black belt training. I am little scared though Chloe said she can throw me now. I hope the floor isn't wood.

I am really pleased that I came to this Taekwondo and don't worry Master Joyce, I am not leaving anytime soon.
