2025 austkd selection to world cadet championship march
We are very thrilled and proud of the performances of our Warriors Cadet team at the Selection to the World Cadet Championship.
110 athletes from 34 clubs gather in Canberra today for the selection event. 20 weight divisions were contested in this highly competitive event where many aspiring athletes worked hard to earn a spot to represent Australia at the prestigious World Cadet Championship. Held every 2 years, the World Cadet Championship for athletes 12-14 years old represent the highest standard of competition globally. The 2025 World Cadet Championship will be held in Fujairah UAE in May. Josh and William both won the GOLD MEDAL to secure their spots. Cassandra fought well to the final, but unfortunately just missed out with a Silver Medal finish. Good efforts by Cato, Desmond, Felix, Isaac and Roger who tried their best. WeiWu Taekwondo finishes in equal second place with 4 other clubs who also have 2 athletes representation each. CONGRATULATIONS and WELL DONE!
