I would like to thank you all for supporting me through my whole taekwondo journey up until this point. It has been a long journey to learn advanced techniques and master my basic techniques. For the longest time I struggled with getting higher kicks and working on perfecting my skills.
I am very grateful for all the time and effort you have put into my training, I would not have been able to have the confidence to grade and leave my comfort zone to try new things. I remember when I was ChoDanBo I was very nervous to take my grading that was online. I remember being so excited to receive my black belt and new uniform. The moment I was given my white belt I thought advancing to a black belt was just out of reach but with your encouragement and support I was able to be more confident in grading to a black belt and even becoming a trainee assistant instructor.
I am not only grateful for the opportunity of being able to learn how to be an instructor and leadership skills for the black belt leadership programme but I am more than thankful for the opportunity of being able to experience how to ref through the referee courses and going to competitions. Also seeing the behind the scenes to how sparring competitions are run and what the referee and corner judges look out for while sparring. It has really helped me with my self confidence. In the last 5 years I have made many friends and met many skilled and talented people. I would never be able to thank you enough. With the support for my family and friends plus my masters I would not be able to get here.
